Rwanda Community Abroad in Queensland has invited all Rwandans living in Queensland to attend the 30th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
#Kwibuka30 will take place on April 7, 2024 at Canberra.
In the statement, Chairman of RCA in Queensland Renatus MURINDANGABO encouraged Rwandans to help in the preparations of #Kwibuka30 and to attend the day.
#Kwibuka30 is expected to be attended by many foreigners including diplomats and leaders in different sectors in Australia, statement said.
RCA in Victoria, NSW, Western Australia and Tasmania are all invited in #Kwibuka30.
During the event, Professor Jeffrey Rosenfeld will be the keynote speaker, Honorable Jean de Dieu UWIHANGANYE will help for reflections and Jean Nepo SIBOMANA will provide the testimony.
