NSW Police is searching Luke Davies, 29, and Jesse Baird, 26, after finding blood at their homes at Sydney’s eastern suburbs and a Cronulla skip-bin respectively.
Both Mr Davies and Mr Baird were lastly seen on Monday evening in Paddington. According to ABC News.
Detective Superintendent Jodi Radmore said that Police found significant amount of blood at Mr Baird’s Brown street home in Paddington about 1pm yesterday, and have since established crime scene.
Detectives then went to Mr Davies’s home in Waterloo, but they have not been able to locate him.
Superintendent Radmore also said that the police were alerted about 11am yesterday, after a worker who was putting rubbish into the skip-bin in Cronulla found a number of items that appeared to be unusual, and contacted emergency services.
“At this stage we would like to speak to Luke or Jesse or ideally both,” she said.
Witnesses yesterday told officers they heard “shouting” and a “verbal argument” early on Monday morning.
The forensic tests on the blood have been done but can’t be matched to any individual.
Mr Baird worked for Network 10 for more than seven years, including reporting stints for Studio 10, and presenting Totally Wild, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about Baird or Davies’ whereabouts – or who may have information relevant to the investigation – to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
