Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, and President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani of Mauritania arrived in Kigali on Saturday, April 6, for the 30th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, which is set for April 7.
Prime Minister Ahmed and President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani of Mauritania touched down at Kigali International Airport this Saturday.
Other Heads of State who have already arrived in Rwanda to attend #Kwibuka30 are the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, the President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina, and the First Lady, Mialy Rajoelina.
The First Lady of Guinea, Lauriane Doumboya, Hon. Greg Fergus – Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada, and Minister President Malu Dryer of Rhineland-Palatinate.
A number of foreign dignitaries including Heads of State, ministers, and diplomats continue to arrive in the country ahead of Kwibuka 30, which starts on April 7.
