The community of survivors of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda living in the United States of America, IBUKA USA, has prepared a special virtual event on Zoom for #Kwibuka30 and sharing thoughts.
The virtual event is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 14:00 ET (20:00 Kigali time).
The event will focus on youth as the hope and future of Rwanda. Speakers will share their thoughts, challenges, and ambitions in preserving genocide memories and prevention.
Among the speakers are Israel Nuru, Derrick Murekezi, Nicole K. Murerwa, Kellia Karambizi, and journalist Alice Kagina.
