Yesterday, the head of the Diplomatic Mission in the Central African Republic, (CAR) Olivier Kayumba, joined the Rwandan Bilateral Force RWANDAN BILATERAL FORCE to mark the 30th Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi.
The commemoration took place at M’POKO Base Camp, Bangui Capital City.
In his remarks, , Mr. Olivier KAYUMBA, emphasized the importance of reflecting on Rwanda’s transformational journey over the last 30 years.
He called upon the new generation to sustain the legacy of strength, resilience, and unity that has been built over the past 30 years.
Rwandan Bilateral Force Contingent Commander, Col Alphonse GAHIMA highlighted the significance of fostering a sense of community and protecting humanity by preventing the spread of genocide ideology.
The commemoration was attended by members of the Rwandan community in the Central African Republic and friends of Rwanda.
