Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released the unemployment rates of march in Australia on Thursday and it will be publishing the datas every month.
In seasonally adjusted terms, Australia has currently unemployment rate of 3.8% with Sydney – Sutherland having lowest rate of 2.2% of unemployment.
Here is the list of regions with highest unemployment rates, March 2024.
1. Queensland-Outback: 6.6%
2. Ipswich: 6.4%
3. Brisbane-west: 6.4%
4. Logan-Beaudesert: 6.3%
5. Moreton Bay North: 6.3%
6. Wide Bay: 6.2%
7. Northern Territory – Outback: 5.8%
8. Melbourne – North West: 5.7%
9. South Australia – Outback: 5.6%
10. Sydney – South West: 5.6%
